Se discuten algunos aspectos de la riquísima vida de Don José
Echegaray, en sus facetas de matemático, político,
literario así como culturales en la convulsa España de la
segunda mita del S XIX y comienzo del S XX.

Abstract:
Some aspects of the rich life of
Don José Echegaray are discussed, both mathematical, political,
literary as well as cultural in the turbulent Spain of the second half
